Good Faith Estimate/ No Suprise Act
The No Surprises Act (NSA) is a federal law that protects clients from unexpected medical bills. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected costs of your mental health services before you receive them.
Under this law, healthcare providers are required to give a Good Faith Estimate of charges to clients who are uninsured or choosing not to use insurance. This estimate helps you understand and plan for the financial aspects of your care—no surprises, no hidden fees.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the charge. Be sure to save a copy or picture of your estimate for your records. If you have questions or would like more information about your Good Faith Estimate, please contact me directly.
This notice complies with Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act. Click here to find out more information about your rights under the No Surprises Act.
Do you offer sliding scale services?
Yes! Please contact me directly for more information about sliding scale options.
Can I receive services if I live in another state?
At this time, I am only able to provide services to clients residing in the state of Virginia. To receive therapy, you must be physically located in Virginia at the time of your session, in accordance with state licensing regulations.
